For anyone planning.. or thinking of planning, a trip to Western
Massachusettes for letterboxing, you should know that Franklin county
is most definitely in W.MA but listed on the LBNA as Eastern MA.. so
don't overlook some of these OUTSTANDING boxes! Some of these
locations are breathtaking. Kstar

Kstar, thanks for bringing up the mis-assignment of Franklin
County to eastern Massachusetts in the LBNA database. Just
the other day I was telling a friend about the many great boxes up
and down Route 202 and at first she couldn't find them because
those in Franklin County don't show up in western Mass on
LBNA.

You could, as a temporary fix, change the county for your Franklin
County boxes to Hampshire. That way the county would be
wrong but the towns and directions would be correct and they
would show up in the western Mass section.

I've brought this to the attention of the webmasters
before, but no luck getting it fixed so far.

And while I've got your attention, Bonnie, did you
know that your Wendell boxes are listed twice, once in
Hampshire County, and once in Franklin County?

They are actually in Franklin County. Which puts them
in with some great company. The boxes around the
Quabbin are both plentiful and beautiful.
